The only other waterway even slightly comparable to the Caledonian canal is the River Shannon in
Ireland, and that’s only in terms of the wonderful wildlife, nature and unpolluted, fresh air that that
you’re sure to enjoy on her cruises. Really there is nowhere else like the Caledonian Canal for marvellous
views and fascinating wildlife that will take your breath away. Golden eagles, stags and
highland cattle are often seen from the barge.
