The only other waterway even slightly comparable to the Caledonian canal is the River Shannon in Ireland, and that’s only in terms of the wonderful wildlife, nature and unpolluted, fresh air that that you’re sure to enjoy on her cruises. Really there is nowhere else like the Caledonian Canal for marvellous views and fascinating wildlife that will take your breath away. Golden eagles, stags and highland cattle are often seen from the barge. Why would I want to cruise here?
-Because of the amazing scenery, wild
flowers, birds and animals that you may see—golden eagles, stags and highland cattle. The air
is very clear and fresh.
