    Meanderer Barge
Owned and operated by charismatic American owners George and Susan Kovalick, Meanderer is one of the most spacious luxury barges on the waterways of Europe. She can accommodate up to six guests in great style in a friendly and relaxed yet private atmosphere. All three cabins can be arranged either as twin or queen-size doubles and are spacious, light and very comfortable. The light, airy cabins and sparkling bathrooms have opening windows with mosquito nets which means you can leave cabin windows open at night without waking up to insect bites! Her attractive full width saloon and dining area has huge opening picture windows on each side, making cruising on Meanderer a real treat as you always have a wonderful view of the outside scenery. From the saloon there is easy access to the large sun deck complete with luxury heated spa pool, a covered al fresco dining area, and very comfortable, high quality lounging furniture. There is more than 6 foot 6 inches headroom throughout, no more than 5 steps between each level and a permanent canopy over the sun deck (not temporary parasols), so guests have the choice of sitting in sun or shade at any time during the cruise.
The Meanderer 2010 cruise itinerary is based in the fascinating and lesser-known region of the Upper Loire, often referred to as the ‘Garden of France’; a typically French landscape with peaceful, rolling countryside. Click on ‘Itinerary’ above to view a day by day cruise program.
