| Actief is a handsome, spacious Dutch klipper that has been wonderfully converted to carry up to 11 passengers and cruise the rural River Thames in fine style. The elegant saloon’s very traditional, English atmosphere (pretty, floral fabrics, varnished woods, books, maps and splendid house plants) is complemented by beautifully decorated cabins, all with spacious en-suite facilities. The cabins and suites have the feeling of a fine English country house. The ambiance aboard is perfectly English and guests are made to feel immediately welcome and at their ease. Your unique route takes you meandering along the quiet River Thames and through an area of outstanding natural beauty, abundant with a variety of wildlife and through the very heart of the cream of English countryside. This is real “Wind in the Willows” country! Quaint villages, delightful islands, winding back waters, locks and weir streams can all be enjoyed from the spacious sundeck.
