Welcome to our ’Barge of the Month’ feature for February 2006. This month we are showcasing the glorious ‘La Bonne Humeur’ hotel-barge which will cruise in the lesser-known region of the Upper Loire, in central France. A superb vessel taking up to 8 guests in maximum comfort and space, she has undergone a very costly refurbishment programme over the recent winter months, and is shortly to be visited by The Barge Company personally, for a full and thorough inspection.
We have decided to add this marvellous barge to our fleet as we are confident that she is a high-quality product of exactly the kind that our dedicated barging clients are looking for, and of course we wish to give our guests the best choice possible when choosing their cruise destination in Europe.
The following pictures will give you an idea of how ‘La Bonne Humeur’ looked prior to her total refurbishment. This is to whet your appetites for the fantastic pictures we will return with following our personal inspection in mid April.
