The Renaissance Barge
Launched in 2000, the Renaissance has earned a reputation as one of the most luxurious of the hotel barges on the rivers and canals of France. In 2006 she was refitted to even higher standards for the comfort of its passengers. Improvements include a new galley, a re-floored forward deck with roof extension for dining al fresco, an expanded, guest-friendly wheelhouse, upgraded staterooms, and an additional silent generator. The very latest improvements to the Renaissance for 2007 were flat screen TVs with satellite channels, plus DVD and CD players in all cabins. There is also on-board internet access via a dedicated laptop with G3 link, should you need to stay in touch with people or world events whilst on vacation. In 2008, the cruise route includes cruising on the Seine and the Canal de Loing with stops in the beautiful cities of Samois-sur-Seine, Montereau, Moret-sur-Loing, Nemours, Nargis and Cepoy. In keeping with its tradition over the years, the Renaissance has engaged an outstanding, experienced crew that will continue to shower care and attention on their guests during a fabulous cruise week in the Ile-de-France / Upper Loire region. Come and experience this fantastic luxury cruising experience!
