The Colibri Barge

Colibri is one of the prettiest luxury barges navigating the canals of Europe today. She is a Dutch ‘Luxemoteur’ barge, built in 1931 and converted to a hotel-barge by her previous owners. Despite her generous size, Colibri only takes four guests, thus affording maximum comfort to all parties. Sleeping accommodation is in two good-sized staterooms with beautifully appointed en-suite bathrooms. The dining area and saloon are light and spacious offering an air of relaxed elegance. The enclosed wheelhouse allows you to be fully involved in all aspects of the cruise and swap stories with the Captain whilst cruising if you wish, and on the large shaded sun deck you can fully relax and find yourselves in awe of the scenery as you pass perfect little villages and vineyards. The menus aboard are Mediterranean style, using fresh local produce and bringing an exciting assortment of dishes to your table, complimented by selected wines. The Colibri is owned by Earl and Fiona Pilatti who have worked in the world of luxury boating for many years, and have recently completed a two year major refurbishment of this gorgeous barge. Earl and Fiona offer their services to make your holiday a magnificent experience that you will remember for a lifetime. After spending many years working on luxury super-yachts they believe everyone deserves to be pampered! (The barge also has a barge dog—Harry, a very lovable Bassett—who never barks and adores everyone!!)
