There are not enough superlative adjectives to describe our week! The comfortable cabin, the fabulous
French cuisine, gorgeous scenery, and every minute a pure delight, gets it started. The crew was
friendly, attentive and well informed on our side trips. All in all, *****!
Our hosts were charming and interesting and went out of their way to make us comfortable. When we
said our goodbyes it was like saying goodbye to family.
One of the extreme pleasures of this cruise was the crew. They were flexible when necessary and always
eager to find out what we wanted so they could provide it. Sheena was a wonderful chef and
guide! The excursions were well paced and all very interesting: gave us either the morning or the afternoon
to just float and watch the beautiful countryside.
I highly recommend the Elisabeth and the personalized service a barge this small can give. The area
was also delightful – so beautiful and different each day.
The Elisabeth was in wonderful condition – very homey and comfortable. Crew was warm and friendly
and competent.
The crew was wonderful and witty; they did everything to make us comfortable, and were very adaptable
to our special needs and wishes. We were spoiled beyond belief with delicious food and wines, all
prepared fresh from the region. This was the most fun and relaxing trip we have ever taken.
Our cruise was more than we could have dreamed! Fantastic! Blissful! Outstanding!
