Lafayette was built in 1958. This classic Dutch passenger barge has been converted to today's standards of comfort in 1985 and was re-furbished two years ago. Like her sister barge L'Estello, she is also a two-level barge.
Her light and airy saloon is the perfect place to relax with a drink in hand and watch the world float gently past. There are ample comfy chairs in which to relax, and also a pleasant bar area. The exterior sun deck is on the same level as the lounge and is also a superb vantage point and is furnished with good quality outdoor furniture, so there is always plenty of choice of where to spend time(when not out on fascinating excursions or cycling or walking of course!).
The Lafayette can also cruise in tandem with the Estello barge to accommodate groups of up to 42 guests.
