'L'ETOILE'

L’Étoile is owner-operated by cheerful and charismatic Dutch adventurer Cobie Lagerburg. Her sunny disposition means all who cruise on the Etoile feel instantly at home within minutes of stepping aboard. The atmosphere on board is very casual and relaxed; the perfect environment in which to recharge your batteries and explore France the stress-free way.
Fully air conditioned with a large lounge/dining area, l’Etoile has plenty of natural light and is decorated in a contemporary French style; there is even a marble open fireplace giving warmth where necessary to spring and autumn cruises. All cabins are cosy and comfortable, decorated with very pretty fabrics, as are the four private bathrooms. On deck you and your co-cruisers can enjoy cooling off in the small plunge pool if liked, and there is plenty of space and comfortable seating in ample shade.
In 2012 l’Etoile cruises in the sunny Provence/Camargue region between the stunning ancient cities of Avignon and Montpellier. The barge is particularly suited to private family charters with young children, although all guests are more than welcome! L’Etoile also offers her own very special ‘Barge and Bike’, ‘Barge and Cook’ and ‘Barge and Wine’ (for charter bookings only) and 'Provence Shopping' cruises in 2011. Please ask us for full details.
