    Libellule Barge

A delightful cruise along the tranquil Burgundy Canal, lovely River Saône and charming Canal du Centre exploring historical riverside towns, rolling wine country, historic cities of Dijon and Beaune, a world-renowned Medieval winery and the twelfth century chateau of Rully. This itinerary is particularly ideal for wine lovers as it cruises through major wine-producing areas, though it is of course equally delightful for those who are not ‘into’ wines. The beautiful countryside and closeness to the picturesque scenery—of which you form a part—makes this a very special cruise through a wonderful rural area peppered with tiny, almost forgotten villages. Meanwhile, thirty years of experience have gone into the design of the Libellule making it the perfect riverboat, whilst the atmosphere on board remains pleasantly intimate as it takes only 20 guests. There is a separate dining room, a forward saloon allowing superb vistas of passing scenery and a sundeck where passengers may enjoy watching the captain steer during the cruise. The cabins are pleasant as are the lounge and dining room, making this a very suitable barge for singles, couples or groups alike.
