This charming boat, with foredeck and sheltered central sun deck, has ten comfortable cabins, including four with large windows on the upper deck. With a convivial open-plan bar area, dining room and cosy lounge where guests can mingle there is plenty of space in which to enjoy this lovely barge. The sun deck is particularly charming as it is situated in the middle of the boat. In 2009 the Litote continues her attractive itinerary through the prettiest section of the Burgundy Canal between Dijon and Vandenesse along which cycling and walking alongside the barge route is very easy due to the well maintained tow path. The cruise excursions include a tour of the famous Beaune wine capital and Hospice, plus a visit to the medieval perched village of Chateauneuf-en–Auxois. Wine-tasting can also be done in Mersault and privately at the very highly regarded Clos de Vougeot. Along the Burgundy Canal, the many medieval-looking little picturesque towns and villages can be explored as you go, and you are on the perfect barge for this cruise route because the Litote was especially custom-built to pass under the low bridges of this particular itinerary.
