The Magna Carte Barge

The eight passenger Magna Carta was brand new in 2002 and offers four spacious full width staterooms with generous en-suite facilities. The ambiance created by combining a traditional barge hull from 1936 with newly fitted fine mahogany, teak and oak woods is outstanding. The sophisticated modern amenities include underfloor heating and colour TV/DVD in each cabin. Splendid furnishings and decoration throughout results in a very classic but sophisticated nautical ambiance in which everyone feels at ease and pampered. Windows are large and let light flood in. Bathrooms are tiled to perfection and luxurious, with attention to detail such as magnifying mirrors as well as regular large ones. Her experienced Captain knows the Thames very well and your Master Chef will prepare a range of mouth watering dishes whilst you enjoy the sights of London and the Home Counties from your floating country hotel. Two Housekeepers complete the crew of four as this fine vessel navigates England’s Royal River Thames.
