The spectacular Loire Valley’s main tributary - the River Cher - has carried cargo and passengers for over 2000 years, since Roman times, and you will follow in their footsteps on this romantic cruise. The route brings you into contact with the glorious rolling countryside, cuisine, vineyards and architectural heritage that make this region so enchanting. Nymphea is of Dutch design and was adapted to navigate the very beautiful yet shallow waters of the River Cher. Refitted in 2003 her traditional ships interior features a warm, classic décor of rich varnished hardwoods and stained glass, resulting in a very pleasant country house atmosphere. Nymphea has a well-appointed saloon/dining area with a bar and small library. There is a spacious sun deck where guests may sit and watch the ever-changing panorama of river life.

PICK-UP– 4:30pm, St Pierre des Corps TGV train station (just outside Tours). Charter groups can be met at their hotel in Tours at 4:30pm if they prefer).
DROP-OFF– 9:30am either at the train station or hotel
