    Renaissance Barge
Launched in 2000 as ‘La Bonne Humeur’, the ‘Renaissance’ now has new owners and has been completely overhauled and updated in recent years. She has truly earnt her reputation as one of the most luxurious of the hotel barges on the rivers and canals of France. She was refitted in 2006 to even higher standards for the comfort of her passengers, and this has not failed to impress all who have cruised on her. Improvements include a new galley, a re-floored forward deck with roof extension for dining al fresco, an expanded, guest-friendly wheelhouse, upgraded staterooms with new beds, furniture and refitted bathrooms, plus an additional silent generator. Further improvements to Renaissance include flat screen TVs with satellite channels, plus DVD and CD players in all cabins. There is also on-board internet access via a dedicated laptop with G3 link, should you need to stay in touch with people or world events whilst on vacation.
In 2010, the cruise route includes cruising on the Seine and the Canal du Loing with stops in the beautiful cities of Samois-sur-Seine, Montereau, Moret-sur-Loing, Nemours, Nargis and Cepoy. In keeping with its tradition over the years, the Renaissance has engaged an outstanding, experienced crew that will continue to shower care and attention on their guests during a fabulous cruise week in this gloriously tranquil Upper Loire region. Often referred to as ‘The Garden of France’, this cruise offers lovely countryside and interesting towns and villages with some superb excursions to local chateaux and similar along the way.
