The Roi Soleil Barge

The Roi Soleil has more to do with luxury yachting than barging, hence the term ‘river yacht’ is often used to describe her. Her elegant lines and mahogany and brass trim are inspired by the classic motor yachts of the 1920`s. Your hosts, Guillaume and Tracey de Perthuis are well known for their experience working aboard luxury charter yachts worldwide and their Anglo-Saxon background will make you feel totally at home. The Roi Soleil can accommodate up to 6 guests and her generous layout and thoroughly modern, elegant amenities offer you a level of comfort equivalent to that of luxury motor yachts. The stylish interior features polished oak floors, natural colours and traditional Provencal touches. Large tinted windows offer panoramic views of the Midi or outside, the separate forward sundeck and the aft teak deck with built in Jacuzzi and outside dining area under the shade of the retractable canopy, are pure yachting. There is also a full length, light and airy saloon, from this a separate stairway leads to three spacious staterooms with twin or queen sized beds. All rooms have private ensuite bathrooms with thermostatically controlled showers, heated towel racks and opening windows. The Roi Soleil really is the barge to be seen on in 2008.
