'WHO KNOWS'

Lunch onboard the ‘Who Knows’ is a gastronomic pleasure...Burgundy is world renowned for gourmet French cuisine and grand wines. A vacation aboard the ‘Who Knows’ will allow you to experience the very best offered by Burgundy and France.

Everyday fresh bread, croissants and other pastries are delivered to the boat or collected from local boulangeries (bakeries) along the route. A highlight of each day will be the lavish meals you will indulge in both on board and ashore, allowing you to taste and experience France first hand. Dawn and Jason have refined their itinerary based upon their barging experience and customer feedback and food is always a major consideration when booking a fully-inclusive or semi inclusive cruise week.

So with this in mind they have devised an itinerary where you dine ashore at certain times during the week. Two reasons for this - first, you will experience the fun and pleasure of dinning in French restaurants, and second - there is a limit to how many five course rich meals one can consume in a week! Hence dinning out allows you to choose to eat as much—or as little—as you like. Dawn and Jason also dine with guests on two occasions during the week; once at a regional workers lunch and on another occasion in an haute cuisine restaurant where you can languish in all the elegance of luxurious French fine dining. And of course, no cruise would be perfect without the ‘Captains Dinner’...

With food... must come wine. Drawing from France’s extensive and varied selection of wines, your cruise will offer you the perfect opportunity to sample, compare and enjoy the excellent wines that represent Burgundy and many of France’s wine producing districts. As wine enthusiasts, Dawn and Jason love to show their guests the vineyards and they have met quite a few interesting characters in their time in Burgundy. Jason has also found the best vineyards and wine houses where there is no obligation to buy, so you can relax in the knowledge that if you just want to taste the wines that’s all you have to do…
